Ship-to States
We are able to ship to most states via common carrier (UPS or FedEx). Because the wine shipping laws for each state are currently in flux, we ask that you contact us directly if you have questions about the legality of shipping wine to the state where you live.
Shipping Charges
Please expect the shipping charges on your invoice to reflect the cost of shipping materials, labor and carrier's delivery charges (UPS in most cases). We don't profit from shipping - the cost is unique to each order depending on weight and delivery location. While we can ship to residential addresses, you will save $1.50 by providing the delivery address for a business operating during regular work hours.
Temperature Control
We have found that instances of damage due to heat and cold are extremely rare, and we will assume you want your order shipped as soon as possible unless you provide alternate instructions. If you are concerned about weather conditions we will gladly store your wine (at no charge) in our climate-controlled cellars. When ordering wine in the summer months, it may be wise to choose 2 day or next day air delivery, and you will be responsible for the increased shipping charges. We will promptly replace (or issue a full refund for) any bottles broken or otherwise damaged in handling. We cannot, however, assume liability for damages due to extreme changes in temperature.
Valid Age
301 Wines makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside California. All alcoholic beverages are sold in California and title passes to the buyer in this state. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcoholic beverages. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. By submitting an order, you are telling us that you are at least 21 years of age and that the intended delivery recipient is at least 21 and able to present valid identification.
